Our club is a small club but is active in the community.  The club has many speakers that come each month that speak about many things in the community that involve children and families.  The club donates money to many organizations and agencies through out the community that help families and children to better themselves. Our club volunteers at the Heritage Center for many events, Granger House  ice cream social, and the Marion Times.  Our club sponsors the Key Club and co sponsors with the  Marion Metro Kiwanis for the Aktion Club for the disabled.  Our club is also giving scholarships to two high school students in Marion.

I would like to have our club do more inter clubs of visiting other clubs and other events pertaining to Kiwanis.  Maybe going to visit some of the places that we give donations to. Also would like to see the Lt. Governor come and visit our club during the year besides during installation.

If interested in visiting or joining our club we meet at the HyVee  Store in Marion in  the cafeteria at 7:am every Tuesday morning except the 5th Tuesday of the month.  Also come and join us for breakfast.
